- 4 fillets fillets of white fish (tilapia or cod)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lemon, lemon, zest and juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the fish fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the lemon juice and add the lemon zest, stirring to combine.
