- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 ounce unflavored gelatin
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 cup canned lychees, drained
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture starts to simmer. Do not let it boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the rose water and vanilla extract.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the hot cream mixture and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into small serving glasses or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Once set, serve the panna cotta topped with the drained lychees.
