  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 8 ounces ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and top each breast with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella slices.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the chicken and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
