  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 8 ounces ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Brush one side of each slice of sourdough bread with olive oil.
  • On the non-oiled side of two slices, layer the fresh mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the basil leaves.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, oil side up.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet.
  • Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
