  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 8 ounces ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly toast the sourdough bread slices in a toaster or in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes until slightly crisp.
  • Spread a generous layer of fig jam onto each toasted slice of sourdough bread.
  • Top each slice with sliced brie cheese, about 1-2 slices per toast.
  • Drizzle a small amount of honey over the brie on each toast.
  • Sprinkle chopped walnuts evenly over each toast.
  • Season with sea salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  • Place the toasts on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the brie is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with fresh thyme leaves, and serve immediately.
