  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
  • Add the steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet.
  • Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  • Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional minute.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
