  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon, lemon, sliced for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the linguine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Stir in the lemon juice, butter, and parsley, cooking until the butter melts and coats the shrimp.
  • Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to combine with the shrimp and sauce.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garnish with lemon slices, and serve immediately.
