- 1/2 medium red onion, diced
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, diced
- 14 oz firm tofu, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 small small corn tortillas
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the red onion and red bell pepper, sauté for 3-5 minutes until soft.
Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet.
Sprinkle with turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, black salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
