  • 4 cups watermelon, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes, cubes, as needed

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine diced watermelon, basil leaves, lime juice, and honey (if using). Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the strained watermelon mixture into each glass until half full.
  • Top with sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with additional basil leaves and a small watermelon slice if desired. Serve immediately.
